A youngest of deuce brothers & tetrad sisters inside an Irish Catholic family, O'Donnell began modeling at age thirteen. He continued as a model until age 16. At this period he began appearing around commercial message. At age 17, he considered quitting modelling & acting, however was approached to audition for the film ''Men Don't Leave (1990).
